Purchased as a gift for a niece but my boyfriend decided that it was awesome and we should keep it. It is awesome and Im glad we kept it. The different settings make it a really versatile light show that you can set based on your preferences. It’s very relaxing and we’ve had several compliments on it from adult friends. Purchased a second one for my niece, she’s almost 1 and she likes to watch the colors dance on the ceiling too! You can see her following the lazer with her eyes. My brother says that it seems to help her fall asleep faster and when she wakes up, she just lays there and quietly watch the lights. Great gift for all ages!

Great product. Wife and baby love it, so ordered a second. Been using it as a night light and/or remote operated light at night. The remote lets you adjust brightness (low/med/high), colors (several), the dancing red laser (on/off), rotation (on/off), a timer, sound volume, and on/off.It also came with a speaker cable with 3.5mm jack to let you use it as a speaker. Haven’t tried that yet. Unit further has a tilt option, which works just fine. The fractal cover you see in the picture acts as a light diffuser (darkens and mutes the colors). We take it off to make the colors crazy vibrant. Under the diffuser cover is a finished plastic face that creates a very cool aurora. The diffuser just pops off, no tools/tweaking required.UPDATE: The remote for one of our units died after a day. Not sure why (not a battery issue). Contacted the seller and they promptly sent a replacement free of charge. Very classy. Highly recommended!

Pretty happy with this purchase. This little light is really cool, especially for the price. The company got it to me right away, on the delivery date promised, the packaging was intact, and the operation is straightforward. I was a bit stumped at the very first, until I realized that the best operation is with the dome off of the top. It’s neat at first, but when you take that dome off it REALLY projects the lights well. I can’t give feedback regarding the remote operation, as I have not used it yet. (Don’t really need it for my purposes.) The only question I have is how to tilt it. I see that it says it can be tilted, but I haven’t figured out how to do it. Afraid I’ll break it if I force it, heh heh. But overall, great little light.I have edited this review after reading one customer’s remark. For the record, the company did NOT promise me anything for a good review; the review above is submitted simply because I like this little light. I haven’t seen anyone else mention discounts or anything else for reviews of this product, so I’m scratching my head on that one customer.

Updated new review: I had a lot going on just after I ordered this, and missed the return window. I did leave a disgruntled review. Immediately after, I was contacted by the company, who offered me a replacement. I happily agreed, because my twins loved the motion that this product cast on their ceiling. Just received the replacement today (two days later, excellent!) and it works perfectly. Can’t beat the service, and it really is a neat product. Hope this one holds up and soothes my babies for a long time to come!Old review: I’ve had this for less than two months. I put it in my twins’ nursery, thinking the lights and movement would help them learn to self soothe. The movement stopped working completely within 2-3 weeks. No warning. No abuse. The aurora effect doesn’t work, and it doesn’t rotate anymore. I still use it stationary, and it’s very pretty, but I’m disappointed that it only gave the full effects for such a short period of time.

For the price, this is a great deal!It has TONS of functions; build in speaker with headphone jack so you can play your music on your player into the device, a controller where you can adjust the light intensity, rotation, how long it stays on until it turns off, and so forth.I love being able to adjust it, it has so many settings like different variation in the lights, how loud the sound, how bright the lights, etc. Very good bank for your buck.CONS:1. The controller’s signal, I find myself missing the device many times when I aim the controller. I wish it had a stronger signal.2. It doesn’t seem to remember certain functions such as the time on before it turns off, I have to continuously press it again. And if you disconnect the device, you have set it up again. Small thing but even a small thing builds up over time.3. When it arrived, I got a really weird hum from the speakers. Lasted several days and for reasons unknown, it just stopped one day. I didn’t do anything to it, it just stopped humming. I’m very thankful about that.

I LOVE THIS THING. Seriously, it’s so much cooler than I expected. There’s so many features, and the different light levels (30%, 60% and 100%) is a great feature. It’s silent (you can’t hear the motor at all), it’s easy to position, and it’s easy to use.But the best part is the Aurora/No Aurora feature. The Aurora is this beautiful red dancing light show thing that is so much fun to watch! You can turn it on and off separately from the other light patterns. (I’ve included a photo with Aurora on and with it off).But yeah, best night-light I’ve ever bought. I’m going to recommend this to all of my friends, it’s so neat.

At first, I was a little disappointed in this light because the colors weren’t nearly as vibrant and cool looking as in the pictures shown on the product page. So as I was getting ready to write my review, I thought I would read a few reviews from other people to see if they were as disappointed in it as I was. That’s where I saw that people were taking the dome off for more vibrant and defined colors. So, I ran into the bedroom and tried it out. WOW! what a difference that made. Now this is what I was expecting and I’m so glad I read the other reviews. I took some pictures to show you the difference between having the dome on and having the dome off. The first two pictures are with the dome on. The colors are very muted without much definition. The rest of the photos are with the dome off and as you can see, the colors really pop! The last photo is a photo of the lights on with the laser show turned off. Now that I know this, I can enjoy this lamp how I was hoping to. I’m very happy with it now.Sample provided for review.

This product is AWESOME, and it is beautiful. The video I submitted was during the day with a quick glimpse of several of the many light settings that are available to the user!The remote makes it incredibly simple to sift through the multitude of options available — and as you can see, even during the day the light projects really well (semi-lighted, curtains drawn but not overly thick).The timer is a great option to save electricity, but want the light to be running as you drift off to sleep. It’s super ambient and I mainly use it for the red light setting (it matches the “vampire” theme of my room perfectly)! However, there are a lot of combinations that you can choose from to suit your preference in the moment. Occasionally I’ll go for the multicolor option, but even so… it really has a setting to fit most occasions.There are comparable products that I thought about buying, but I decided on this one instead. It is well worth the money that one would spend on it — and it’s actually pretty durable (the picture above it fell and ripped it from on top of the TV where it’s positioned). I was terrified it was broken, but I plugged it back in and voila!It’s small and compact, and I imagine if I had it in the center of the room that nearly all of my ceiling would be illuminated. The glossed cover comes off for more vibrant lighting, and that’s how I use it. In my opinions it’s better without the cover, in general. But it gives you that extra option to use it as a night light if that’s what you desire.TLDR; I love it and am considering a second purchase for another room in my home!
