So out of all the camera’s that are being sold on Amazon to claim to be mini spy cams. This is probably the best one available with the size and price that it is. Now to be fair, I’ve only bough one other brand of camera and it was so bad they actually sent me a newer model because the one I bought was labelled wifi but it wasn’t. And even that camera was garbage. So here, IMHO, is the pros and cons: Pros: small, affordable, when fully charged has lasted up to 5 hours straight record time (For what i want to use it for I really only need an hour so I haven’t tested longer than that.). Trust me when I say the LED lights are very minimal and barely noticeable in complete darkness (If you are looking for a “spy” camera most other brands have LED’s which clearly are bright and able to be seen.), The app is in English and has a decent design, Cons: I prefer auto night vision, but I can see why people would rather want to control it manually, I hate that it records in 5 minute increments (the company says it’s to be able to share and upload video’s easier, but I would prefer a choice like with night vision. I’d like to be able to manually select the length of time if possible.But all the camera’s that I’m aware of also record in 5 – 10 minute increments. Other companies has said it’s due to the video quality.), and lastly motion detection is average at best. I get tons of phone alerts but when I view the video it doesn’t seem to correlate, and lastly whoever does the customer service isn’t good. It takes two days to get a reply back and when they reply they tend to be “jerks” and that’s being polite. I asked if they offered a new camera and they replied back “New products cannot be launched in a short time.” I wanted to reply back “Really Jackass?! How would I know for sure when a product was launched?” Personally I find information like that listed on Amazon, a lot of the times, is not correct or false. So besides that this is still probably the best choice for right now.

First of all, this camera really is small. The picture quality is great in the daytime. There are different options for the quality I’m sure because it will also eat up the capacity of the Micro SD card depending on the quality you choose. You also need a micro SD card in order to save the recordings. The night camera is good quality when I tested it in my garage where it is pitch black. It had better quality when I tried it outside where there was more light from the street but I forgot to take a screenshot. I did have some issues connecting it to my wifi but I reached out to tech support and they responded quickly and helped me with the wifi setup. I love how small it is so it’s very portable to move it anywhere around the house I want to view. It comes with a magnetic stand so you can stick it anywhere and the camera won’t fall down. This is especially great to keep an eye on my elderly parents to make sure they’re safe when they’re home alone.

I bought and tried the product –
– I bought it about month ago. In first three days I was frustrated because of the options that I don’t understand, I’m a software engineer btw.- because I need to really know who is stealing my stuff from the garage, I tried all the options and experimented everything with this camera.- After one month I can say that I love it. I set up the alarm option to save battery and memory space. Every couple days I check the videos and format the SD Card (not included, you have to buy it, I recommend you buy 128GB).-You won’t be able to watch the camera streaming from anywhere on your phone, unless you’re close to the camera. Maybe I’m wrong and I didn’t discover how to implement all the options.

I bought it a month ago when I started planning to go back to work and leave my baby with nanny. Even though I was trusting our newly hired babysitter, it was hard to leave my baby with stranger. Not just the babysitter was new to me, but also leaving my baby behind was making me really crazy. Literally every minute, I was wondering what she was doing, if she is crying or not, if she was sleeping, if she was missing me, and so on and on. Yet, with this camera, I was able to monitor her and how she was gradually getting used to her nanny. First week of using this camera, I was just watching it as I was watching a movie. Now things get better, I got used to leave her with the babysitter, yet still check on them on and off. This is great relief for me, and definitely helped me a lot to build up trust with our babysitter. Vision is great that I can see everything clearly.

I found this mini cam for my garage use, the only thing, you might need to buy with this, is a WiFi extend outlet. If your garage too far away from your WiFi signals. I forgot to close my garage door many times, I have to go back to double check. I have this camera installed. I can check with my phone anytime, or if someone stop by to drop off stuff in my garage, it will be recording. I think it’s a good thing to have a eye on your back all times.

At first I must confess I was a little bit bewildered regarding setup. But I was determined and I’m glad I took the time to figure it out. I’m not sure what was holding me up at first but once I got it down the procedure is easy. I’m very surprised at the excellent quality of the image the sound is actually better than my $300 surveillance cameras. Not kidding. I like all of the controls that are present on your phone allowing you to turn sound off turn sound on switch the camera into night mode change the image quality. For the money you definitely can’t go wrong. Currently I have mine attached to a solar powered battery. This would be a perfect setup for a remote location.
