So I wanted multi color bulbs to integrate with my Google home system. Tried a few brands on Amazon, but found these to be the best value and most feature rich. While full range multi color was a requirement, the majority of use is simply a warm white bulb I use for reading and general room lighting. I am not a fan of daylight bulbs – my preferred color temperature is about 2900K – warm white. These bulbs offer full range color, including excellent control over white color using the Smartlife app. Wifi connection was quick and reliable. Integration with Google Home was easy using the app. Full range color and dimming control 1% -100% is available. Brightness is higher than I have seen with other low cost smart bulbs, They are rated at 800 lumen – or 60W equivalent. Comparing to a Phillips LED bulb, this rating looks to be correct. This review was written after only a short period of use, so I cannot yet comment about long term reliability, but I am very impressed out of the box.

I purchased 2 packages with 2 Bulbs. I used 2 Bulbs for my Outdoor Lights for my Front Porch (Out of the Weather), and set them to Yellow as a Bug Light. I used the other 2 Bulbs for my Rear Sun Room behind my home. I love the ability to change the color based on my Mood. The App on my iPhone works Great, so easy to setup. I also use with Alexa, and it also works well. As I am writing this review, I just ordered 2 more to take advantage of the Amazon Coupon.

It goes without saying that the single biggest difference between these bulbs and that of Lifx and Philips Hue is the price. Less than half the price is a big jump, and while you’d expect that to play a part in the functionality or even the life expectancy, it’s not at all the case. When coupled with the (newer) Plusminus app and Alexa or Google Assistant/Home, you can easily change the color or brightness and set the mood for each room without the hassle of flipping switches by hand, just like the more well-known competitors. They look like regular LED bulbs so you’ll likely forget that they even have smart functionality if you have them in the same room as other bulbs, but they don’t need a super fancy design to work. I would like them to be a little brighter to accommodate larger rooms—and one is certainly enough for a small bedroom or hallway—but it’s fun nonetheless being able to have multiple colors at once when you’re hosting a party or playing music. I’d absolutely recommend these bulbs to anyone who’s looking to jump into the smart home ecosystem without wanting to invest a pretty penny should they change their mind. I have almost nothing bad to say about these bulbs, and that should say a lot.***A couple of notable details about my experience***I installed one of these on my porch despite the instructions saying that colder, wet weather is a no-no, but it works just fine, even in the winter. I encountered an issue early-on where the bulb would reset almost every evening, but found out that this was caused by a light sensor built into the structure. Since then, I’ve had no problems turning it on via the app or Google Assistant and seeing it from down the road at night, even at my preferred 25% brightness. It’s nice being able to change the color to match my decorations around the holidays without buying a new string of lights or untangling last year’s.It’s convenient to have the same SSID for both the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands of your router so devices that support both can easily switch back and forth. But that makes it more difficult to set these lights up. Because my phone connects to the 5GHz band by default in our smaller house and these lights only connect to the 2.4GHz band, I couldn’t effectively set up or troubleshoot them without first changing the name of my 5GHz band to force my phone to connect to the other. I’m well-versed in the technology world, but this extra step is not for everyone. Once set up, however, the app and Google Assistant act as bridges to connect without changing the band names again.

These things are great! I set a pair of them up in my nightstand lamps. I always hated having to go in the room in the dark and turn on the ceiling light, then go to each side of the bed to turn the lamps on, then turn the ceiling light off. Then of course at bedtime I have to turn one off, then go around and get in bed and turn the other off. Need to get up in the middle of the night? Well those lights are far too bright for that so I would stumble around hoping not to run into a wall. These bulbs solve ALL those problems. I downloaded the “PlusMinus” app that others have complained about, but once they are set up then everything can be controlled through Alexa. Set them up as a “group” and you can issue verbal commands such as “set nightstands to blue” (there are many colors to choose from that the verbal commands work for) or “set nightstands to 10%” and of course turn them on and off. But the real beauty is you can also set up routines to control them, so for example I say “evening lighting” and it switches both to blue and 50%. When I say “good morning” I have them set to come on at 50% and cool white in addition to getting the weather forecast and news. If I have to get up at night I say “night light” and they come on at 10% cool white, just enough to see my way to the bathroom without scorching my sleepy eyes. “Turn on nightstands” turns them both on cool white at 100%. “Good night” turns the lights off. I’ve only had them a week but so far they have performed flawlessly.

This was an awesome purchase after buying my Echo dots! I’m planning on buying two more but anyways…Make sure your phone is connected to your wifi. You download the app and place the light bulb in. Turn on your light switch then flicker the switch three times then turn it on. Make sure your phone is on your WiFi network then pair up the bulb and voila it’s done. So damn simple! You can even rename each bulb according to what room it’s in (even in Alexa)! This makes for easier identification! Alexa allows for me to change the color and dim the lights!! This is awesome!! Buying them for my parents!Update: Also set one up for the front porch light and my goodness I love it! I order from time to time, deliveries and of course get stuff from Prime and this makes it really convenient for delivery drivers to locate your home. My light is set to where it slowly changes to another color and I make sure to note that for delivery drivers! They always comment how easy it is for them to find my place now!!

I bought these 2 color changing smart bulbs and set them up following the instructions. It is surprisingly easy, I found the LUMIMAN’s setup videos on Youtube and get them connected to the LUMIMAN app and then Alexa. They work with my Amazon Echo flawlessly. After setting them up, I shared these devices with my husband, then he can control the light bulbs without setting up on the apps again. These light bulbs not only have the color option, but also have very bright and natural white color. I love the cozy soft white and yellow, while my husband likes the changing colors. Great job, LUMIMAN. I definitely will buy more of these for the other lights in our place, and try their other smart devices.

I got these light-bulbs for a party to have a cool light changing effect in my stairwell and I’m very happy with the result!Pros:- Installation was easy, just download the app and follow the instructions to connect the light bulb to your wi-fi network. I was able to get the bulb up and running within a few minutes. And best of all NO HUB NEEDED! Just the light bulb and a wi-fi connection!- Although the bulb is multi-color, you can still adjust the type of white light the bulb produces anywhere in the range from a warmer yellow to a colder blue which is a nice feature to have!- The bulb is essentially instant on – maybe a quarter second delay after flipping the switch but then it comes on at the last used color and brightness level without having to build up to the brightness.- All the colors of the rainbow are at your disposal- Customization is great! Not only are you able to have the bulb change colors, you can select up to 6 colors you want the bulb to cycle through AND control the speed of how quickly the colors change (i enjoyed perfecting the color changing frequency immensely 🙂 and found 92% the right speed for the stairwell)- brightness is great – exactly as advertised! – As with all the other smart bulbs, you can create schedules, auto turn-off and on, etc.Cons/Product Recommendations:- If you have the light bulb on any non-white color, changing the brightness resets the color to white. This was very annoying when i had only the smart bulb lighting the room and just wanted to tweak the brightness and the vibe was killed as the light switched to white. I’d definitely like to see that updated!- This is a minor one, but i’d like the ability to be able to cycle through more than just 6 colors!- In the future, i’d really like to see an option for the bulb to change colors with the music. I’ve seen some other ones online that have it, but at this price-point i can’t complain that this doesn’t have it. Brighter wattage bulb options would be good to have too when you have limited sockets! Conclusion:All in all, this was a great purchase and I’d happily recommend this bulb to anyone. Great value for money!

I’m a 16 year old guy who attends college (17 credit hours this semester), works 40 hours a week, and runs track and cross-country. Sticking to a solid sleep schedule is incredibly important. This being said, somedays I just don’t feel tired when I need to go to bed. I lose my concept of time. With alexa integration, I’m able to set a time every night for my lights to turn off so I know I need to sleep. Also, on days where I do go to sleep, maybe even a bit too early, alexa can automatically turn off my lights and save power. The different colors these particular lights can show are very easy and intuitive to change between. When I’m in the middle of writing a paper or drawing something, a change of color can really help inspire a change of perspective and gives me the creative boost I need. Only downside is that when you connect multiple together, they may sometimes de-sync with some off, and others on. This is solved by simply switching the light switch off and then back on which causes them to restart, and re-sync.

Great product, great color, pretty bright. Takes while to connect wifi, need 2.4G setting on wifi. Had to turn off my 5.0G band on my wifi, so once I figured that out everything turn out very nice. And got everything connected to my Echo it’s very nice, just takes a little time and well worth it.
